Roan Creek Farms grows organic produce and raises pastured animals on our 32 acre woodland farm.
Nestled between the Buffalo and Tennessee Rivers, our regenerative farm is fed by a crystal clear spring. Chemicals are never used at Roan Creek.
Roan Creek Farms started in 2020 as Local Kitchen, Chef Estrella Rosenberg’s love letter to the greater Nashville area. For four years, she brought the very best in farm to table, food as medicine meals to Williamson County, TN. In late Winter 2024 Chef Estrella and her partner Craig purchased their dream property in Perry County and Roan Creek Farms was born.
A boutique farm, we grow vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers using permaculture principles. A former Mennonite property, our land has never seen a chemical in its entire inhabited existence. More than organic, Roan Creek Farms uses no sprays or dusts of any kind. Our soil is fed by our on property, mineral rich crystal clear spring.
We raise Dexter Cattle, Katahdin Sheep, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Kunekune Pigs, a variety of egg laying + meat Chickens, Coturnix Quail, and Khaki Campbell + Muscovy Ducks. Our animals are fully pastured with treats throughout the day from fruit and vegetable scraps. Our cattle, sheep, and goats live as one big happy family in our gorgeous green pasture while our pigs live in our forested acres, eating fallen nuts and apples from our trees to their hearts content. Beyond free range, our chickens and ducks have no fences and roam throughout our farm, happily munching on protein packed insects while helping spread nature’s fertilizer.
Roan Creek Farms is in service to and for God’s glory. We steward His land, animals and resources with humility, gratitude and love.
